Corporations, Project Sponsors, GPs and LPs

Stirling Infrastructure provides the firm’s market knowledge to project sponsors and asset managers, and utilises its deep relationships with market participants to achieve a successful capital raise. The firm raises capital for project sponsors and asset managers who can demonstrate that they have the necessary management team, market expertise, and track record to offer institutional capital a bankable investment that will achieve returns above defined infrastructure index benchmarks. Should a proposal fall short of being accepted by Stirling Infrastructure’s Investment Board, the firm offers objective advice to help project sponsors and asset managers to develop their investment strategy to a standard that meets the requirements of institutional investors.

Institutional Investors

Stirling infrastructure uses in-house infrastructure market knowledge, and economic and financial expertise to help institutional investors develop an allocation strategy – adhering to pre-defined total portfolio objectives and risk appetite. The firm recognises that not all institutional investors have the resources to allocate into direct investments and therefore have a preference to either allocate into co-investments or a selection of fund managers. All investment proposals are initially appraised by Stirling Infrastructure’s sector and geography analysts. The findings of the analysts are then presented to the firm’s Investment Board to discuss whether the investment is suitable to be presented to institutional investors. Stirling Infrastructure is also able to appraise the entire infrastructure asset manager market and offer a shortlist of managers for selection against a range of benchmarks.
