Helen Dong Qiu

Helen Dong Qiu is based in Houston and is an accomplished financial and investment executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in the United States and internationally, specialising in the renewable energy, oil & gas, and energy transition sectors. She has led major U.S. energy initiatives, including the acquisition of Texas shale gas assets and the development and financing of solar and wind farm projects across America.
Her career spans North America, Europe, China, and Central Asia, where she has originated, structured, and executed complex cross-border transactions. Helen’s experience includes directing upstream oil asset investments in Central Asia and building global LNG trading operations, advising investors, project sponsors, and corporate leadership teams throughout the energy value chain.
Prior to joining Stirling, Helen held a senior leadership role at the overseas projects of CPID, a Fortune Global 500 company focused on clean energy, power infrastructure, and decarbonisation, where she played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s international footprint and energy transition investment strategy.
Helen holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Zhengzhou Aeronautics University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in China.
